My 93 Subaru Legacy Wagon with automatic transmission was running fine. Went to start it and all it did was crank over. Tried checking the spark with a screwdriver in the spark plug wire, nothing. Took the coil pack to auto store, they tested it to be working, a little extra resistance on the primary end. Now what? Cam sensor? Crank sensor? I could smell gas under the hood so that didn't seem to be an issue. Thanks.

On the primary side of the coil pack the resistance was almost double when tested with a multi-meter. The secondary tested within specs. Can any of this be tested by plugging in the car to an analyzer?
