how do you get the cv joint out

the best thing to do is take the drive axle off in one piece. Where it goes to the transaxle it is held in place with a drift pin. you will have to remove this pin to get it off. the other end is held on with a nut. you will have to loosen the steering hub so you will have enough room to take the axle out. most places have replacement axles that you can put back in that are all ready rebuilt.
