2003 Subaru Baja 4 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic

I was quoted a price of 460.00$ parts and labor from a subaru dealer for repl. timing belt+water pump. Does this figure seem correct? I purchaced a kit which contains belt, w.pump, 2 idler pulleys, 2 drive pulleys, tensioner, cam seals, thermostat + gaskets for 260.00$ The price i was given must be for the belt + water pump only, if my math is correct.

It will only take approx. 3 labor hours to remove and replace the timing belt / water pump. That will be approx. $200 in labor fees. If you got a kit for 260 with all of that than the total charge shouldn't exceed $500 after taxes etc. Are added. That is, $200 labor + $260 parts + add. Taxes/fees etc.= Approx. $500..
