starting problems

When trying to hook up my battery the van is trying to start even without the key!
The van is turning over like it wants to start! I had the battery replaced and I also was messing with the relay box, what could this be?

Check for power at the starter solenoid wire, that is the small wire, if it is powered up (pull it off the starter so it will not operate) if there is power there all the time you may have a faulty ignition switch.
