Ok my husband lost the car keys. He some how got in the car and the alarm was going off so he disconnected the battery. We bought a key from the Dealership. The wouldn't turn in the door or ignition. They ordered me another key, but could it have anything to do with the alarm system?

if the key was made right it should work in car unless ignition has been changed. it may take resetting the security system with a scanner to fix this correctly. Or maybe the key fob but you would need to find original key for that.

If by any chance the ignition was switched it would still work in the door right? I won't get the second key after Memorial Day. So I'm hoping they made it wrong because the key didn't on the doors either.
