Went to start my car this morning to go to work and when I turned the key - nothing. It was fine when I drove yesterday - started right away, no dimming lights. This morning there is no dome light or anything. Checked battery cables and all other obvious cables for any lossening and that didn't help. Any thoughts on what to look at next?

Sounds like u have luck like me. The last 3 or four batteries I have had gone bad have given me no warning even the same day it was starting fine no problems. Then I go to start it later no dash lights no dome light or a clicking from the starter.I would start by taking the battery cables off make sure there clean and tight. Do u have a volt meter? If u do u can see how many volts the battery has. If u have jumper cables u can try to jump it. Just make sure u get the red and black correct on both batteries. See if it starts that way u can get it to a parts store for testing the alternator amd battery. Also check and make sure u didnt leave something on headlights dome light etc. Let me know what u find.

So was able to jump the car and after letting it sit and charge for a few minutes it started. Gonna take it to have the battery tested. Hope that's all it is!
