My car was in an accident when it was raining, it slid into a guard rail off the freeway. Hit on the driver side. When I took the wheel off the control arm was severely bent, so I replaced it. Now still on jacks, the steering wheel wont turn. What could the problem be?

Obviously, the control arm was only the MOST visible problem. If you aren't thoroughly familiar with the steering/suspension system, a good reference manual (or online ref) is warranted.
I suggest you take extra special care and examine all parts thoroughly. Remove the passenger side tire and compare. If that checks out, suspect the steering gear (if pwr steering - rack).
