2000 Saturn SC2 ERROR CODES

Here are the code defs....

P0404 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Circuit Range/Performance

P0405 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor A Circuit Low

I would suggest taking the EGR Vavle off and try cleaning it before replacing. If that doesn't fix the problem then replace the EGR Valve.

Suspect faulty EGR valve as previously stated by obxautomedic. Additional info. about these codes can be found below..
