Electrical problem
1998 Saturn SC2 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a Saturn SC2 that when you turn the key on everything comes on, but when I try to start it nothing happens. It will not crank or even click. The battery has been checked and is okay.

Do you have a multimeter so we can trace power to see why it won't turn over?

I had the same problem. I spoke with a tech at a saturn dealership and he told me to replace the started relay. I did so, but with no luck. Then another tech told me to try to start the car in another gear. It would start in neutral but not park. So on his advice I replaced the parking switch and problem solved.
