Follow the lower radiator hose to the engine block there is your thermosate housing. When the car is cold remove the radiator cap and if u look under the thermostate housing just below it there is a 10mm bolt facing straight up with a metal sealing washer get a drain pan remove the bolt dont loose the washer or it will leak. Drain it and replace the bolt and washer when it stops draining. Now remove the lower hose by loosening the clamp at the thermosate housing. Remove house and move it a side now there are two 10mm bolts holding it on remove them and theres ur housing and thermosate. The thermosate twists in I recomend u get one at saturn for a good fit and it comes with a cardboard tube that u place on the bottom of the thermosate push down on spring and twist and its out reverse to put back in take note on what it looks like when its in right. It also comes with a new oring for the housing. If u clean up the block and housing with a scotch brite pad no permatex needed. Then put it together the way u took it apart the air in the cooling system will bleed it self no special way to bleed it. Also use prestone or saturn coolant only two coolant I know of that is phosphate free use the wrong coolant and could damage ur block. The first saturns that were made like 1200 of them got damaged blocks and saturn had to buy them back from wrong coolant being in them when they were made. Well ggod luck let me know how it truns out.
