1997 Saturn SC1 Overheating

I have a Saturn SC1 1.9 liter 4 cylinder and when you stop it will overheat if you do not have the air turned on. What is the problem?

could be many things. first to check is coolant level in radiator and overflow tank. if OK, you will need to remove thermostat and test it to ensure it is not sticking. also, are your cooling fan(s) coming on appropriately?
