My 1997 satun makes a round of clicking nosies before it starts. When I hit the gas a bit it will then start up. Eventually the clicking stops though out the day as I start my car. It does it only when its very hot out. I dont know what the problem is. Some people tell me its my battery others say its my starter. Can some please help!

When u hear the clicking and ur car doesn't start does ur engine spin or rotate?Where does the clicking noise come from ur starter? If u have to press the gas pedal for ur car to start sounds like u might have a bad coolant temp sensor. Any codes?Let me know.
