Wont Start

I have a 1996 Saturn SW2 Wagon. Lately I have been having a problem where anytime I drive fro a long distance, once I turn the engine off it wont start. I can jump start the car and it starts right up, or I an come back after a few hours and it starts right up. I can drive short distances and I will have no problems, is only whne I drive long distance (over 30 miles)?

I 've seen some weird things wiht the igntion switches on those. My hunch is it may be an alternater issue, but try this anyways. Before you drive it, take a hairdrier and heat the ignition switch up somewhat and see if the problem starts right then. If not I would have the charging system checked.
