2004 Saturn VUE with about 64,000 miles, V6 manual transmission. While accelerating the vehicle RPM's are higher then usual (while driving 70 mph the RPM's will reach and maintain at 3,000) and stay high until the car idles; idle is normal. Any suggestions on what might be my problem. :?

I would try changing your IAC sensor (Idle Air Control sensor). If that doesn't help much, then try changing your front and rear Oxygen sensors (located on the front and the back part of the engine).
