I have a 1999 saturn sl, for the last 6 months when I go out in the morning it wont start, if I wait about a hour it starts with no problem, also the hose coming from the engine to the air filter system blows smoke, can you give me a idea on what the problem might be?

Does the engine crank and try to fire? The hose blowing smoke sounds like a bad pcv valve. How many miles and what maintenence has been done lately (plugs, wires, air and fuel filter)?

Good luck and let us know. :)

Almost sound as if something is draining the battery but is disconnected after you first try to start it. I would check the ignition switch.

Good luck and let us know. :)

No it doesnt try to crank over when I try to start it, but like I said if I wait a hour or so it turns right over, I just get nothing at first although I do have all my power in the car eg: lights, radio etc.
