I recently got my son a Saturn SC1. While driving the "service engine soon" light came on and the idle became rough. When I returned to the dealer they checked the code and said it needed a MAP sensor. The sensor was replaced and the car ran well for about 5 miles then the light came back on again and again the rough idle. Same code on the reader. The car was inexpensive so the dealer doesn't want to put any money into a car that I already bought. Is there and buletins or other common causes for this problem?

I don't remember the code. The other bit of info I forgot was that when the car is turned off the code goes away. The problem reoccurs only after driving 3 or 4 miles and a restart clears the problem. I had my son practice parallel parking in the drive way for about 15 minutes and no service light. It only seems to come on while driving.
