My daughters saturn did not start last night. Today we went to pick it up and it started.The car ran fine ,but the transmission was shifting hard for the first time. The intial problem I assumed it was the fuel pump, but check engine light came on and sta
yed on. I went and had the codes read.The codes are PO727 Engine speed sensor ckt. no signal and P0700 Transmission control system malfuction. TO and from getting the codes read the car started fine and shifted good. I guess after all that my question is how do I proceed diagnosing the engine speed sensor/no signal, I believe that's why it didn't start?
