2003 Saturn L200 power steering pump

Is it possible fore motor oil to get in to the power steering fluid and what will it take to fix it.

Depending on which type of system you have on the vehicle.

For the L61 typre, the pup is bolted onto the cylinder head and driven by the camshaft. If the seals are leaking oi get escape from the pump to the engine or vice versa. Logicvally it should be power steering fluid getting to the engine oil as the pump is under p[ressure so is more likely to be pushing out rather than taking in the engine oil.

To fix the problem you need to repair/replace the pump.

The fluid have to be flushed out of the system.
