car will start but wont go into drive Just shut my car off and this happened

So its stuck in park u cant press the release button acts like ur not stepping on the brake?See if ur brake lights work?Check all ur fuses especially ur parking light fuse in the under hood fuse box. Any other symptoms like gas gauge inop or door locks inop keyless entry inop dome lamp inop since ur problem has happend.
