1998 Saturn L200 JERKING or shaking whilst driving

My car keeps jerking especially when am speeding and also slowing down. L was in a car accident two months ago but do not think it did affect the engine. Would you please tell me whats wrong with my car.

Is the check engine light on? If so, scan and repair accordingly. If not, and no noises from something rubbing or grinding, check wheels to make sure one isn't bent or broken belt in tire. If thats ok, you might have transaxle issues. Good luck
