2005 Saturn Ion key/ignition troubles

2005 Saturn Ion 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 70500 miles
I went to put my key in the ignition but it wouldnt turn. I tried everything from getting out if the car and locking it and unlocking to turning the steering wheel to unlock the steering wheel, still nothing. the key abosultly will not turn please help

so is ur ignition cylinder stuck in the lock postion?if so try tapping on the cyinder with a hammer with the key out dont go crazy and smash things up.if it turn then u will just need a new cylinder if it doesnt then u will need a cylinder and the whole ignition housing.let me know if u have anymore questions.
