2001 Saab 9-5 Car dies out when sitting at stoplight
Electrical problem
2001 Saab 9-5 6 cyl Automatic 680000 miles
Over the past two wks my car has been dieing out when I am sitting at a stoplight. It will start right up again and I will be able to move once it is running. This is very frustrating. I've had it at the dealer twice and they are unable to duplicate the problem. They want me to wait until it ofiicially dies and it won't restart before things are replaced. I don't want to wait for that to happen so any suggestions on where the problem may lie would be most appreciated.
Thanks,

I had this happen recently. My crank sensor died - and the car would die while iddling - usually at a light. Eventually the car would stall more frequently and then it wouldn't start up at all.
The dealer replaced the crank sensor and fixed the problem.
