I know it's not the started because I have gotten that checked. When ever I drive somewhere and come back half an hour to start my car...the car won't start... i put the key in...turn to start and it only does a click click click click sound and then nothing.
the engine and oil light come on but then go away once the car starts...when it has been sitting there for atleast 40 mins...

during the summer it's worse...if the car sits in the burning sun in arizona and i want to start it...same thing. it's like the hood and the inside of the hood has to be "cooled" down in order to start.

i have no idea what the problem is

check your positive battery to starter cable condition & for tightness at starter motor ,if loose at starter u will get that sort of an starting issue ,next if that is ok check & let me know if when u r starting if the dash lights flickers or dims ,or just do this jump starter motor when u have the problem ,this will let u know if is a starter motor problem or not also get your battery tested .
