I sent my car to the mechanic two months ago to have my blower motor replaced. While in the shop the mechanic advised that I replace the motor mounts, the valve cover gasket, and to clean the throttle body. I’m at the disposal of a mechanic so I told him to go ahead and do it. When I picked my car up the vibration was insane. I mean, it vibrates so bad that the noise in the cabin is deafening. I can hear pieces of my dash vibrating against my frame, it’s really loud and annoying. This vibration is constant and doesn’t go away when driving at any speed. The noise and vibration is constant from start up.

Also, when I brake sometimes my engine will rev up to 2,000-2,200 RPMs.

No lights, no codes, and no mechanic (2 more after the original mechanic) has found the issue.

I’m desperate for someone to tell me what they could be missing.

Hi,

When you say there is a loud noise, is it when the blower motor is on or when the engine is running or being driven?

I need to know which of the two seems to be the cause. For example, does it stop when the blower motor is off?

The idea that they replaced the blower motor itself can be a cause. If the fan is not properly installed or out of balance, it will vibrate like crazy.

On the other hand, if they damaged or left vacuum hoses disconnected when working on the throttle body and or valve cover, that will cause a rough idle.

Let me know as much as you can. Also, if it is loud enough, record it and upload it for me to hear. One last thing. Let me know if there is anything you can think of that causes the tone, pitch, or intensity to change.
