Running bad

The van its hard to start the fuel goes right tho filter but its back firing, missing and the exhaust is turning red

Sounds like you have a bad misfire for some reason. Start out having the code read and see if they can isolate which cylinders.

Ya and it has new plugs and wires it was sitting for 5 months I guess

If you changed the wires, you'd better double check your firing order. Could have a bad coil too.

What happen is iam getting it from my brother he did plugs and wires then his girlfriend ran it out of gas at home and they just let it sit they say it ran good when it ran out gas

You still need to check the firing order.

Once the firing order is verified, see what the fuel pressure is with a gauge.
