Bought three reverse switches, and and still cannot get electric to it. I can cross over and get electric, I cannot get electric to switch. Switch will not put any current back there.

Good morning.

Did you verify power to the switch with the key on?

I attached a diagram for you to view with the fuse that control power.

The switch works off the manual valve in the transmission.

If you bypass the switch, does the rear lights work?

If you bypass it the wiring is good. That leaves the switch. You have replaced the switch but apparently it is not making contact with the manual valve inside the transmission to turn on the lights. You will need to remove the transmission pan and look at the valve at the top where the switch is mounted to see if the arm or valve is worn out.

Remove the switch and look down inside the hole and see if you can see the arm moving.
