Doing a radiator flush. I don't think it has ever been done either. Would like to replace the thermostat while I'm doing the flush also. It looks kind of difficult to do, but I need help with location and the best way to access it. I see the coolant tube, but after that I don't know how to proceed.
Thanks,
Ron

Hello,

To replace the thermostat, you will have to remove few components, like the air filter box and the battery.

Before getting started you want to drain the coolant.

I have attached the replacement instructions below as well as the testing procedure.

Please let me know of any questions.
Thank you.

Thanks, I found it. What is the jiggle valve/pin on the thermostat? Which way should it point when I install it?

That pin is to allow trapped air to pass through the thermostat. You want the pin to be at 12 o clock position.
