You will need to have the vehicle pluggen into renault's diagnostic computer (or equivalent) to locate the fault ... I suspect the immoboliser is not coming off is the dash light flashing fast ? this will need reseting by the diagnostic computer !!

Hi Dave,thank you very much for your response.I will get it plugged into a diagnostics computer. However the last time we did that, we almost got the computer burnt as the vehicle had developed an electrical short on the electric windows panel, which we have now disconnected. Yes the light on the dash is flashing.Will keep you posted once we use the diagnostics computer.
