1997 Renault Megane Auto transmission revs
Transmission problem
1997 Renault Megane 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 68000 miles
car behaves as if clutch is slipping (automatic transmission) will rev to about 3000 and shift up and down. The electroonic fault light comes and goes on the dash.
Since this is an old car I dont want to spend a large amount on a repair

You will need to have the vehicle plugged into a diagnostic computer to locate the exact cause of the fault !! ... it could be a sensor/solonoid in the transmission or it could be a simple speed sensor fault
