I so hope that you can help my car and me!
I have a Renault Megane Classic (1996). It is chucking intermittently and severely when driving with the rev counter clock going crazy while it is happening, and now engine is stallinig regularly in traffic.
Yesterday the car refused to start for 5 minutes in traffic on a motorway .. then re-started and chucked deeply a lot with the rev. clock thing happening, and continued to stall many times within 5 minutes or so - then I parked it for a few hours ...
It started fine some hours later (as usually does )
and then continued to remind me that the problem had not disappeared as it chucked a lot over the 15 miles home ... very stressing ..
Today it's still chucking ... but only took it for a 1 mile drive ..
I travel 15 miles to work in heavy traffic every day Mon-Fri., and can't afford to change car for another 6 months or more .. I so hope that you can help.
