2001 Renault Laguna silly noise coming from car
hi i recently got a new cat fitted on my car ever since i have had this done, the car has been makinga silly noise whenever i accelerate.
i have had the cat changed again but the same problem is happening the garage i got it done from dont know what it is they say let the cat carbonize and then it should be ok i have driven over 500 miles but still nothing. or there is another problem
the noise seems to be coming from level to the back doors under there.
so if you could give me some advice as to what it could possinly bei would be grateful

can you describe the sound? rattling? squeak? blowing? what

its like a whistling sound but only happens when i accelerate

i would check for a exhaust leak or vaccum leak. could sound like its coming from the rear but sound travels.

i have checked for an exhaust leak but nothing ill try the vacum
