I was told I need to replace the thermostat housing because my car is running hot. The hose on top of housing is leaking which in turn I also have to replace two coil packs, but why does my radio factory Alpine 6 disc go haywire?

The primary side of the coil will induce noise into the electrical system which can cause various problems along with the issue that you are having. Ford gave us at the dealerships a special tool that would clamp onto the top of coils to test for this kind of failure.
