I replaced my radiator I got one at a salvage yard and gave them mine for the core. Problem is, that I gave them the whole assembly and only got the radiator so now I am missing the cooler and air compressor. I have had the car for a year and during that time my A/C and power steering has never worked. Do I have to have those parts if I do not care about the A/C working? I would rather go without then dish out the cash for the parts if possible.

Hello, I am Danny.

The only problem I see with you not having the A/C compressor in place is that you will have to buy an idler/bypass pulley installed in its place so you can install the serpentine belt. Any chance of getting your A/C compressor back from the salvage yard? I have attached a photo of where the A/C compressor/Idler-bypass pulley is located and circled it in red. Hope this helps and feel free to ask any further questions if needed. Thanks for using 2CarPros.
