I bought a car and they let me test drive it. I drove it maybe 30 miles over a 3-week period no steering problems no grinding not hard at all I when to take it to have an o2 sensor replaced and a block from my house the power steering goes from fine to nothing. I instantly popped the hood and that's when I saw the sop I bought it from let me test drive and go home with no fluid in it except washer fluid, but I replaced the fluid, and it still won't steer.

Hi,

I need you to check a few things. First, start the engine and allow it to run for a few minutes. Turn the engine off and open the fluid reservoir to see if there are air bubbles in the fluid.

If there are, safely lift the front wheels from the ground. Make sure the fluid is full. Then, turn the steering wheel all the way to each side several times. Recheck the fluid level and refill if needed. Then restart the engine and see if it made a difference.

Let me know what you find and if there are any noises associated with the issue.

Take care,
