1995 Pontiac Transport wipers and windows

1995 Pontiac Transport 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 76.000 miles

I have an intermittant fault on the wipers they work when they feel like it work properly one minute then pack up for hours. My electric windows go down but stop when coming up, wait for a while and start to come up again, drivers window is worse once down will only come up a few milimetres at a time

Sounds like you have two problems, the first is the wiper module inside the wiper motor is going bad, this is a common GM problem. Next, it sounds like the main window switch is bad which works when it wants to. Please let me know what happens.
