Engine Cooling problem
2003 Pontiac Sunfire 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive 21200 miles

problem with cooling fan not running checked fan it is okay. Code on obd is 01480. Checked relay and it seems okay. What else could it be? Now the other day the interior fan(that blows air) in interior of car quit working. This has happened before and then one day it just came on. Have checked fuses and they are okay. Have an after market command start installed quite a few years ago but done professionally. Could there be a short somewhere and if so how do I check for it?

Did you mean P0480? That is a code for fan relay control. In the diagram the red wires are voltage, check for voltage. The bottom green wire on the left is ground for the coil side of relay, that is how the computer controls the relay. If the computer sees a voltage on the ground circuit that it doesn't expect, it won't ground the circuit. If you can't see the wiring colors because the relay plugs into a socket, unplug the relay. Using a testlite on the 12 volt circuits won't hurt anything, use chassis ground.
