When my car is parked or at idle it begins to shake. I lifted the hood & it is the engine that is shaking. I believe it has something to do with the timing. How do I set it? No check engine light is coming on, I do not know if it has a check engine light.

Timing is a little complicated. You have to take the timing cover off and take off the chain and re align the sprockets(crankshaft and cam shaft). I think that you may have a vacuum hose that is either in bad shape /cracked or its completely off. Just take a really good thorough look at all of the long small hoses and make sure there is no cracks and they are connected. Or you can take a can of brake clean and gently mist it around the intake manifold, if you hear a difference in idle then you have a vacuum leak. Get back to me with your findings and we'll take it from there.
