Electrical problem
1997 Pontiac Sunfire 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 98000K miles

Same problem as someone else, the light with the box and fluid with the down arrow is comming on and off. I've recently replaced the powersteering hose and fluid (dealership installed), filled the washer fluid, checked the engine collant, and filled the oil, but the light still comes on. Any ideas as to what could be causing it?

That little light is only your coolant level, as I recently found out, it is your heater core under your dash that is the culprit, if it is clogged it will over pressurize your system and make your motor run hotter than normal chewing up and leaking coolant making this light come on over and over again.

If after filling the light stays on, you will need to fix your sensor that is attached to your reservoir and/or the thermostat for good measure.
