I just drove up to Saskatoon from Edmonton, my car ran fine until I just got into Saskatoon- it started making a loud hissing noice and I smelt burning rubber? I don't know what it going on, please help!

Sounds like something seized up under the hood.
Try removing the serpentine belt and spinning all the pulleys by hand, chances are something will not turn.
That will be your problem.
