The car will crank and start usually with no problems. After it's been running for a while and gotten good and warmed up if I shut it off it will not crank up again for at least another 20-30 minutes. The temperature gauge is not showing that it is running hot. I just replaced the alternator and two relays. One for the A/C and one for the fan motor. Any suggestions as to what would cause the car to not start after the engine got warmed up?

Hello.I just saw that you replied to our question. To answer yours. It will crank but not start after it's been running for about 30-45 mins. It will shut off and have to sit for a good 20-30 mins before it will restart.

Last year, we took it in for the recall involving ignition thermal events. It hasn't run right since that was done. We replaced the alternator and the relays for the A/C and fan motor. Also, when starting it initially, it usually takes 3 trys before it will start. Thank you for any help you can give us!

The first thing I need you to do is when it crank's and won't start is to check for spark. Also do you have any code's?

I will try to check for spark tomorrow. Can't take it to local auto parts store as they can only test 1996 model year and higher. Thank you for your help!
