I have a 94 Pontiac Sunbird that recently startd giving me problems. It seems to be when the temp guage gets in the middle and is warmed up it will start to jerk and then stall when you apply the brakes but only when it's actually being driven. I just need some idea as to what it could be so I can go about fixing it and hopefully not spend to much money.

Does it run bad or only when breaking?
Could be the intake. Spray carb cleaner around it when it's warm and see if the idle speeds up
Sounds like you should test the brake booster cause it would leak enough vacume to stall you. Cheak the booster by seeing if the pedal goes to the floor when you start the car and check the vacume cheack by seeing if it takes a few pumps for the pedal to get hard again if it's immediatly harder than the cheak valve is leaking.
If it's running bad at during normal driving than it most likly is a fuel supply issue and the extra vacume strain of the brakes is to much. Whens the last time you cheked the fuel filter. It sounds like it's running lean on you. This is a 6 dollar cheack to rule out easy stuff if this don't help tellme and I givesome more easy cheap you have to do it anyway type checks.
