1993 Pontiac Sunbird car won't start but clicks

Engine Mechanical problem
1993 Pontiac Sunbird 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I have never had a problem starting my car, the battery is new and has a green light, when I turn the key in the engine all lights inside come on and a clicking sounds like a heart beat appears under the hood in the ABS systems box (small rectangular ABS written on it). The lights go off when I turn the key all the way, but it keeps on clicking when it is on pre start (radio etc, comes on) Engine does not do nothing.
