I was driving down the road the other day and my car made a tiny popping noise similar to the lil paper fireworks you throw on the ground then i saw a tiny puff of white smoke. The car stuttered a lil bit then went dead. i've been having problems with the ignition module going out i pulled the module and got it tested and all things were good to go with the module. could it be something else in the distributor or do i need to look else where, the car does turn over but will not fire

Hello,

Have you check to see if you have spark to the plugs? If so what color is the spark... it should be a bright Bluish/White. If it is Orange then it could be either the wires or the coil.

Check out the link below for more details.
