1991 Pontiac Sunbird car will not start

Electrical problem
1991 Pontiac Sunbird 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 100000 miles

my 91 sunbird has had this problem where it will be driving just fine then will die n wont start for a couple hours...even days. we hooked it up to a computer it told us the fuel pump was bad so i changed that, next it was the fuel filter changed that, then it said it was a relay i changed that n all the fuses r good and in there right places but it wont even start now? i dump some gas down the air cleaner and it started right up then died. could it be a pressure regulator of injectors maybe??? idk help me please

If it starts when you put fuel in the throttle body, then it is fuel related. Has anyone checked the fuel pump relay?
