1955 Pontiac Other Repair Question

Vapor lock 1955 Pontiac
I have a 1955 Pontiac starcheif with a 278 cu in engine 4 bbl carb. when the weather is hot it will vapor lock. can any one help? I have re routed the fuel lines away from engine as best as can be done.

check to see if your vent in the gas tank is plugged. Also you cna insulate the fuel lines by the engine with fiberglas and aluminum foil. Als check to see our fuel pump pressure as well as fuel flow.then make sure you have the correct gas cap on the tank.
