I have a 1985 pontiac parisienne station wagon. Recently I replaced everything under the hood. Remanufacatured engine, transmission, starter, spark plugs and high tension wires, distributor, radiator and hoses, power steering pump, fuel pump and egr. I also replaced the catalytic converter. But my problem is my gas mileage is 10 miles/gal. What am I missing? It's running great but only the gas mileage is worse than before I replaced everything under the hood..
Thank you in advance for any advice you can give me.

first check the compression and compare it to factory spec's then check the fuel air mixture with a gas analyzer to see if the mixture is to rich. also check the ignition timing.
