2003 Pontiac Montana Service Engine soon light

My wife left the gas cap loose which made the service engine light come on.I scanned it after putting the cap back on and it was an emissions code.I cleared it and it stayed off for a while. It only comes back on after clearing after I have driven it and turn it off.
I scanned it again, and it said :
p0453
evaporative emissions control
system pressure
sensor high input
Is it possible th sensor is bad and is it located inside the tank?
Any info will be appreciated.Thanx, sincerely, Joseph Fleeman

the sensor is on top of the tank. It is possible it is a poor connection or a bad sensor.
