I have a 2002 Pontiac Montana 3.4 Liter 6v, 2 wheel drive automobile. When driving around 35 miles per hour or faster I feel a slight vibration in the steering wheel and hear a grinding sound when turning right. The noise and vibration stop when turning left or going straight. I have around 62,000 miles on the car van. I have new tires and a front end alignment about 3 months ago. I notice the problem about 9 months ago and the noise is getting louder.

Hard to say if vibration and noise are related.

Take a look at the cv axles and check the boots for any grease that has spun out of the or tears in the boot. It may be an axle going bad. I would also recommend checking each wheel for play in the ecvent of a wheel bearing, ball joint or tie rod problem.
