2002 Pontiac Montana 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

The engine cranks but will not start.Thought it was the fuel pump so I replaced it but it still will not start.Anyone have any ideas? You can prime it with a little fuel and it will start and run until it burns that little bit off and then die so it does have spark.
