Engine Mechanical problem
1997 Pontiac Montana 6 cyl Automatic

Is there a proper sequence of events to go by after replacing the head gasket? All the oil and Coolant has been drained. I'm concerned about no oil in the engine, all oil in the pan. Coolant has been bleed for air in the engine. Should I be concerned, or Just crank it up?

Hi there,

there should be no problem with starting, but if you want to you can pull the plugs and crank it over till you get some oil pressure showing, but normally we just fire it straight up.
